In 2023 Matt and Megan Magill conceived of The Groove School to facilitate the opportunity for students to learn to play music in live combos and learn what intimate, live performance work is like before they ever leave high school! Live music brings people from all walks of life together and is an education in itself… AND!!!! our rehearsal space is connected to THE greatest club in East Texas for live performances, The Listening Lounge!

Our work together at The Groove School yields terrific performances and unforgettable memories! Every show we put together explores different genres of popular music and methods of performance to create next level experiences for our ticket holders! As an extension of Magill Musical Theatre Studio we carry on the tradition of top-tier presentations in a pre-professional environment educating young people, stoking their creative passions and encouraging their unique artistic energies.
